    Mane Attraction

    David Scholle, Easy Rider

He arrives at dusk and skids his gleaming Harley perfectly into place in front of your house.

Slipping off his bike, he grabs his bags and heads to your door. You let him in and lead him back to the kitchen — that’s where you’ve planned to do it.

You lean back under the sink, and he runs his hands through your hair, all the while massaging your neck and temples. Clearly, you think, David Scholle really is as good as his rep. Which isn’t surprising: He trained at Vidal Sassoon and worked at Bumble and Bumble in NYC before heading to Chicago.

Next, he cuts, colors, and works his magic. Scholle knows what you want: a stylist who does the deed any time of day, right in the comfort of your own home. And his prices can’t be beat. Plus, he’s never late, can work around kids, and loves dogs. (Sigh.)

All you need is a sink and hair.

And, of course, an active imagination.

    David Scholle (312-543-2665).

Regarding ice cream scoops, puppies, and orgasms: Two things are often better than one.

And just as often, two is simply not enough. Greedy grins grow wide at the thought of an extra pair of hands (for playing Wii, washing dishes, getting a massage).

As the therapists work out the kinks in your body with their experienced (a combined 22 years’ worth) fingers using calming oils and deep tissue techniques, your brain will go on sensory overload. Don’t think. Just relax.

Feel out of whack? Make an appointment immediately. It’s simple, really.

    An Angel Among Us

    Imerman Angels

First it was cars. Next, a pile of her favorite things. And then her piece de resistance: a leadership school for young girls in South Africa.

    No one can out-Oprah Oprah.

But if anyone’s up to the task, it’s Jonny Imerman. After winning his own battle with testicular cancer, Imerman wanted to give other cancer patients what he craved most during his experience: a connection with someone who had lived through similar trauma.

And so Imerman Angels was born. A Chicago-based nonprofit, it matches up cancer fighters with cancer survivors. Pairings are based on age, sex, location (he’s gone international), status (married, single, children), and type of cancer. The idea is that the two can meet up, talk, and support each other through the entire process.

There are more than 110 fighters searching for their matches, so Imerman Angels is looking to add to their band of volunteers.

    Talk about an angel network.
