Back in December, we presented you, dear readers, with nominees in the realms of fashion, food, beauty, arts, and culture. Facebook campaigns, attempts at bribery, and mudslinging ensued. The time has finally come to announce the Sweetest Things 2007 winners.

And the awards go to …

		SIGHT Kathleen Hayes and Amy McCormick ColeyClaire Atlanta native Kathleen Hayes met her business partner, Amy McCormick, in college. The duo reunited in NYC and debuted a line of chic uptown-meets-downtown dresses this year.

		SOUND Janelle Monáe Metropolis With tinges of Prince, OutKast, and intergalactic funk, Purple Ribbon songstress Janelle Monáe introduced the first of four sets from her debut album, Metropolis.

		SMELL Brandi Barnes Just Add Honey Tea Company Modern-day Renaissance woman Brandi Barnes is a foodie, fashion stylist, and (most recently) tea connoisseur. Her Just Add Honey teas in flavors like green caramel are not your ordinary herbal.

		TASTE Karen Britain The Chocolate Bar Karen Britain went cuckoo for cocoa with the opening of The Chocolate Bar, her inviting Decatur nightspot where cocoa nibs, chocolate martinis, and fondue dominate the menu.

		TOUCH Robin Moore, Stacey Urrutia, Brook Arberg Trinity Massage & Aesthetics Robin Moore, Stacey Urrutia, and Brook Arberg opened a second location of their members-only Trinity spa, giving more Atlantans the chance to get expert massage on the cheap.
